The Housing Development Center (HDC) is a nonprofit project development organization that provides technical assistance to community development corporations in Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington. Since incorporating in 1993, HDC has completed work on over 2,300 units of affordable and special needs housing, ensuring that these projects move smoothly through the complex process of acquisition, financing, and construction management.

The Housing Development Center provides project support to non-profit housing developers. HDC's staff of highly qualified housing specialists provides assistance at whatever level is necessary to meet the specific needs of the project. From creating a simple financial feasibility model to taking a client through the entire development process, HDC works to move projects from a vision to a completed building.
